ΠΡΟΫΠΟΛΟΓΙΣΜΟΣ ΕΡΓΟΥ: 1.881.058,08€

Τον Ιούνιο του 2011 ο Δήμος Παγγαίου κατέθεσε πρόταση στο πλαίσιο της Β2 πρόσκλησης του Προγράμματος «Ευρωπαϊκής Εδαφικής Συνεργασίας Ελλάδα – Βουλγαρία 2007-2013» ως επικεφαλής εταίρος, με 2^ο εταίρο το Δήμο Borino – Βουλγαρίας και 3^ο εταίρο το Δήμο Madzharovo – Βουλγαρίας. Η σύμβαση υλοποίησης του ανωτέρω έργου υπογράφηκε στις 19.03.2012 με αριθμό Β2.11.03.

Το έργο συγχρηματοδοτείται κατά 85% από το Ευρωπαϊκό Ταμείο Περιφερειακής Ανάπτυξης και κατά 15% από Εθνικούς Πόρους της Ελλάδας και της Βουλγαρίας.

Στο Δήμο Παγγαίου η βασική παρέμβαση αφορά στην αντικατάσταση του πεπαλαιωμένου δικτύου ύδρευσης της τοπικής κοινότητας Αυλής. Ο Δήμος Παγγαίου συμπληρωματικά θα υλοποιήσει και άλλες υποστηρικτικές ενέργειες.

Στο Δήμο Borino υλοποιείται έργο ύδρευσης και καθαρισμού/διύλισης υδάτων και άλλες υποστηρικτικές ενέργειες.

Στο Δήμο Madzharovo υλοποιείται έργο διαχείρισης και επεξεργασίας ακάθαρτων υδάτων και άλλες υποστηρικτικές ενέργειες.

Ο συνολικός προϋπολογισμός του έργου και για τους τρεις εταίρους είναι 1.881.058,08€ και αναλύεται ως:

ΔΗΜΟΣ ΠΑΓΓΑΙΟΥ: 673,688.00€

ΔΗΜΟΣ BORINO: 831,476.42€

ΔΗΜΟΣ MADZHAROVO: 375,893.66€

Σύντομη Περιγραφή στα Αγγλικά (Brief Description in English)

The municipalities of Paggaio (Greece), Borino (Bulgaria) and Madzharovo (Bulgaria) have to improve the quality of life trough water management interventions. Settlements in the municipalities of Paggaio and Borino have both suffered from insufficient quantity and quality of drinking water’s supply, despite the existence of good water sources. At the same time there have significant loses of drinking water. At the moment the drinking water supply of Borino is by one main source, which fills in one reservoir with overall volume of 500 m3. This capacity is insufficient. Not only the quantity, but the quality of the water does not cover the increased requirements for drinking water. Thus, for properly supplying the population with clean drinking water, Borino village needs purification plant and a new reservoir for drinking water.

In Paggaio the losses of water and the waste of drinkable water will be reduced by actions that confront the water leakages / losses due to damages in the network and the improvement of the networks functioning. The project envisages “replacement of the old pipelines’ network at Avli Settlement” which is always damaging.

In the Borislavtsi village in Madzharovo municipality a system of sewers was built, but due to lack of funds no waste water treatment plant (WWTP) was not built and the waste waters are going to the Ivaylovgrad dam from where Arda river is flowing to Greece.

The main purpose of this project is to improve the quality of life for the population through provision of assuring drinkable water supply to cover the increased demand with a good (healthy) quality for the population and decrease the water losses. By constructing the WWTP on the sewers system, the environment will be protected from getting more poluted.

The main infrastructure activities of this proposal briefly include:

1. Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of the old pipelines network of Avli Settlement with a new one in Municipality of Paggaio;

2. Construction of Drinking water treatment plant and reservoir for Municipality of Borino;

3. Construction of WWTP for Madzharovo.

4. They will be implemented together with measures for information and publicity, seminars and joint conference on water saving and cleaning topics, elaboration of handbook with lessons learned and information campaigns.

The total budget of the project is 1.881.058,08€ and is distributed to the partners:
